Damion Maynard Tribute Page

Dear Martial Arts Family and Friends,

On April 27, 2007 my oldest son Damion passed away suddenly. Losing Damion has been extremly heart breaking and the greatest pain I have yet to expeirence in my lifetime. Also on July 4th, 2007 my girlfriend Tamara lost her sister, in conjunction to these two tragidies I have had several surgeries on my knee. This has put a huge strain on us financially and emotionally to say the least.

I share this news with you so that you are aware of and understand why I have not been to any camps in the last year nor been very active in the Martial Arts community.

Now I am doing better, getting back in shape and teaching again. So far 2008 has been really good to us, and we have high expectations for the future, as we take Texas JKD to the next level. Texas JKD is starting a new era as we step out of the shadows of the past and create our own organization to bring one of the absolute best Jeet Kune Do training platforms available to the U.S.
